This is what I do between photo shoots since I moved away from the city. And the only bit of culture shock I’ve endured is the shock coming from this new fiberglass splitting maul handle. Ouch!

I'm James Allen Walker, a freelance photographer who shoots assignments for World Magazine. I set up worldontheroad as part of a proposal to Editor, Marvin Olasky with the purpose of convincing him that he should send me on the road on my motorcycle to shoot assignments along the east coast. My goal was to get myself more assignments, save World money, and document the journey along the way. Well, as you see; it worked to some degree.
