World Magazine has sent me an a couple assignments as of late. This one was just down to NYC. Only a 6 hour drive. Thanks to Mr. Josh Harper for coming with and assisting me on this one. Thanks to Henry Leutwyler as well for letting me come and give him a hand in the studio for Essence Magazine. It was refreshing to be on the scene again at MILK studio.
I'm James Allen Walker, a freelance photographer who shoots assignments for World Magazine. I set up worldontheroad as part of a proposal to Editor, Marvin Olasky with the purpose of convincing him that he should send me on the road on my motorcycle to shoot assignments along the east coast. My goal was to get myself more assignments, save World money, and document the journey along the way. Well, as you see; it worked to some degree.
